One of my favorite television shows out of the UK (the other being Top Gear), Fifth Gear presenter Tom Ford discusses the new Maser GT. The review does nothing to stem my automotive lust for this car... especially in blue!

I had never heard of either but while visiting my daughter in Holland I was watching the BBC and 5th Gear came on. My son-n-law then told me of Top Gear. I prefer 5th but Top is made kool by Clarkson.
I wish we had something like that on US TV.
If my information is correct a US version of Top Gear was planned. Jeremy Clarkson did not want to move his family to the US so the idea was canned.
Too bad really since we have nothing like that show on television here. Not to knock Motor Trend and all the other automotive shows on US television... but all pale in comparison for sheer entertainment value. The cinematography of Top Gear is outstanding as well.
I guess it helps that the deep pockets of the BBC can help fund some of the larger stunts on the show.
The polar expedition special was epic!
